WALKTHROUGH - Ending 1 - Part 3


Welcome to the third and last part of the Walkthrough for Ending 1 of 5 (and BONUS: Ending 2) of Matry's Room!

PART 3 - RED ROOM

First passcode:

A 1-digit passcode... what could it be?

The simple answer to that is to try out all 10 digits!

... but that wouldn't be fun.

I'm sure you're here to know the science behind that code.

Take a look at the hint on the left of the doll.

By superposing the arms of each stickman (in red), we get  a digital representation of the number 9.

The same goes with the doll's arms. By superposing the red lines (the hint), we get the number 6.

Et voilà! One passcode down.


Second passcode:.

Notice that, by connecting the red dots on the skull, you get a symbol resembling number 2. The skull the doll is holding confirms our suspicions.

Now, take a look at the writings on the balloon. Do you notice something strange with the formatting?

There are exactly 3 words per row and 5 rows of text... similar to the skulls, which form a 3x5 grid.

This is a continuation of the theme in the first passcode with digital numbers.

There are exactly 3 texts, and the passcode asks for a 3-digit code, so there you have it!

Now, one way to go about it is to draw the grid on a paper and check every cell with a bold word. You will get 613.


The doll opens, and from it, a bug-like creature crawls out. Definitely not the Devil.

It will try to convince you to stay in the room.

From here, you can get multiple endings.

ENDING 2: select "I feel safer here."

ENDING 1:  select "I want to face the truth." The creature will ask you for the names of the shapes that appeared from the box during the Blue Room. 

Remember them?

Matry's Room is about finding the truth, and one important step is to remember

Only by remembering who we are can we see the truth.


If you decide to give up before, you'll get ENDING 2, where the Devil says,

"Let me take away all your pain. You'll wake up like a newborn,"

hinting that you'll wake up in the room again with all your memories, painful ones, erased. You probably did countless times.

Now back to the puzzle, the code is pentagontrianglecircle

You'll have to solve another puzzle. The hint is on the floor: tppc.

The three shapes you collected have appeared on the Devil, and not-so-coincidentally, there are

  • a Triangle
  • a Pentagon
  • and a Circle.

You can solve the puzzle by clicking the shapes in order: triangle, pentagon, pentagon, and circle.


The boss dies, and the path to truth opens to you.

Will you find salvation through it? 

There is only one way to know, and that is by facing the truth.
